Rajasthan SI Exam 2026: Supreme Court restricts exam relief to single candidate; thousands lose benefit

The Supreme Court has modified its order passed on Thursday, by which it had granted relief to around 2.21 lakh candidates by permitting them to provisionally appear in the Rajasthan Sub-Inspector (SI)/Platoon Commander Recruitment Examination 2025. The earlier order was passed on a plea filed by one candidate, Suraj Mal Meena, who had sought deferment of the examination by at least four weeks on the ground that he had been unable to appear for the examination scheduled on April 5–6.
