BSEB STET 2023: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairperson, Anand Kishore has announced the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2024 results on November 18 at 1:45 pm. Candidates will be able to check their results at the official website — bsebstet.com.

A total of 4,23,822 candidates appeared in the examination, including 2,63,911 candidates in Paper-1 (Eligibility Test for Class 9-10 teachers) and 1,59,911 candidates in Paper-2 (Eligibility Test for Class 11-12 teachers), as claimed in the press release. The pass percentage is 70.25 per cent.

A total of 16 subjects were examined through CBT in Paper-1 of STET 2024 conducted by the committee, in which 1,94,697 candidates have passed out of 2,63,911 candidates appearing. The pass percentage is 73.77 per cent. The committee conducted the exam for a total of 29 subjects through CBT in Paper 2, where the pass percentage is 64.44 per cent.

In 2023, a total of 3,00,726 candidates qualified the exam and the pass percentage was 79.79 per cent. A total of 4,28,387 candidates registered for the exam. While 2,71,872 candidates appeared for paper 1 and 1,56,515 candidates took paper 2. Of the total registered candidates, as many as 3,76,877 appeared for both the papers. The pass percentage in paper 1 is 82.90 per cent and in paper 2, it is 74.37 per cent.

Last year, BSEB had announced that the STET will be conducted in two phases from 2024 — one will be held in March and the next in September. Bihar STET 2024 phase 1 exams will be conducted between March 1 and 20 and the STET 2024 phase 2 exams will be held from September 10 to 30, 2024, an official notification had stated earlier.
