The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for submitting online application forms for the UGC-NET December 2026 examination. According to the public notice issued on October 27, 2026, candidates can now complete their application process by October 31, 2026, up to 11:50 PM.
The decision has been taken in the interest of candidates who have not yet completed their applications. The agency has clarified that the extended deadline applies to both the submission of online application forms and the successful payment of the examination fee. Candidates can complete these processes by the revised deadline without paying any late fee.
With the revised deadline approaching, candidates who are yet to register or complete their applications are advised to visit the official UGC-NET website and finish the process at the earliest. Applicants should ensure that all required details have been entered correctly and that the examination fee has been paid successfully before the deadline. Completing the process in advance can help candidates avoid potential technical difficulties caused by heavy website traffic during the final hours.
