Jawaharlal Nehru University has opened admissions for Undergraduate (UG) and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) courses for the 2026-27 session. Students who have completed class 12 can apply for the admission process. Candidates can access the information brochure by visiting the JNU’s website at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The last date to apply is July 22 and registration can only be done through DigiLocker.
The application fee for general, EWS and OBC category is Rs 300 while it is Rs 150 for SC and ST categories. For foreign nationals, it is Rs 3830. Before login to JNU portal, students must make sure latest CUET UG 2026 scorecard is downloaded in the DigiLocker Account.
For BA (Hons) Foreign Language, B.Sc Ayurveda Biology, and COP: Admission will be based on the CUET UG 2026 score.
For B.Tech: Admission will be based on your JEE Main score, with seat allocation through the JoSAA or DASA scheme.
JNU Admission 2026: How To Apply
Step 1 – Visit DigiLocker and login in via a valid CUET UG scorecard.
Step 2 – Provide details such as your name, address, mobile number, and email.
Step 3 – Upload the 10th and 12th mark sheets, photo, and signature.
Step 4 – Pay the required fee.
Step 5 – Submit the form. Save and take a print out for further reference.
JNU UG Admission 2026: Documents Needed
1. Upload Scanned Images of Candidate’s latest Photograph, Candidate’s Signature and CUET UG score card 2026.
2. Scanned latest photograph, signature and CUET UG Score card 2026 should be in JPG/JPEG/PNG format.
3. Size of scanned latest photograph should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
4. Size of scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb.
5. Size of scanned CUET UG Score card 2026 should be between 10 kb to 200 kb
6. The latest photograph should be coloured or black/white (but clear contrast). Candidates must upload the correct latest Photograph and Signature as the facility for correction in images will not be given.
Those who complete the registration and payment will next have to go through a physical verification of admission/registration for first list of selected candidates. This will be followed by the publication of second merit list and further admission.
