The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a major initiative to help school students gain knowledge of emerging technologies. Under this initiative, students from Classes 8 to 12 can now learn advanced subjects such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), data science, Python programming, cybersecurity, and cloud computing without paying any fees.

To support this effort, CBSE has launched 19 free online courses through the NIELIT Digital University (NDU) platform. These courses are designed to introduce students to future-ready technologies at the school level and help them develop essential digital skills for the modern world.
