CUET UG 2026 Results: Devina Gahlot earlier secured 99.2 per cent in her Class 12 board examinations and is now aiming to pursue higher studies at St. Stephen’s College in Delhi.
Devina Gahlot, daughter of Kailash Gahlot, secured 100 percentile in four out of five subjects in CUET UG 2026.
Devina Gahlot, daughter of former Delhi minister and current BJP MLA Kailash Gahlot, has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the top position in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. According to the results announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Devina has scored an outstanding 1232.19 out of 1250 marks, emerging as the All-India topper. The CUET UG 2026 results were declared on Tuesday.
Devina Gahlot Secured 100 Percentile In Four Out of Five Subjects
She appeared for CUET UG in five subjects and delivered an exceptional performance across all of them. Devina scored a 99.99 percentile in English and achieved a perfect 100 percentile in Economics/Business Economics, Political Science, and Psychology. In Fine Arts, Visual Arts, and Commercial Arts, she secured a percentile score of 99.91. Achieving a 100 percentile in three subjects distinguished her from over 11 lakhs candidates, who appeared for the examination.
Her subject-wise scores were equally impressive. She secured 241.95 marks in English, 249.53 in Economics/Business Economics, 241.11 in Fine Arts, Visual Arts and Commercial Arts, and 249.58 in Political Science. In Psychology, she achieved a perfect score of 250 marks. These scores combined to give her a total of 1232.19 marks, making her the highest scorer in CUET UG 2026.
Expressing her happiness after the results were announced, Devina described the achievement as a dream come true. She said that the first thought that crossed her mind after seeing the result was of her parents. According to her, they always believed in her abilities, encouraged her during difficult times, and stood by her throughout her academic journey. She credited her success to their unwavering support and said that this achievement belongs as much to her family as it does to her.
Devina Gahlot Secured 99.2% In Class 12
A student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Vasant Kunj, Devina has consistently excelled in academics. She had earlier secured 99.2 per cent in her Class 12 board examinations and is now aiming to pursue higher studies at St. Stephen’s College in Delhi.
The CUET UG results were released just 16 days after the completion of the examination, making them available 12 days earlier than last year. More than 15.68 lakh candidates registered for the exam, while over 11.64 lakh students appeared for it. CUET UG serves as a key entrance examination for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by central universities and several other participating institutions across the country.
Saksham Goyal secured the second position with 1230.82 marks, while Udit Chaturvedi from Himachal Pradesh finished third with 1207.21 marks. The narrow gap between the top two ranks reflects the highly competitive nature of this year’s examination.
