The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala has announced the CCMT 2026 Round 3 seat allotment result. Candidates who participated in the counselling process can now check and download their allotment status by visiting the official website, ccmt.admissions.nic.in.To access the result, candidates need to log in using their Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) registration ID and password.Candidates who have been allotted seats in Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Architecture (MArch) and Master of Planning (MPlan) programmes must complete the seat acceptance process by paying the required fee on or before June 30, 2026, by 5:30 pm.The CCMT is a centralised counselling process conducted for admission to postgraduate engineering, architecture and planning programmes offered by National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur, selected Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).This year, 76 institutes are participating in the CCMT 2026 counselling process. Seat allotment has been prepared based on candidates’ GATE 2024, GATE 2025 and GATE 2026 scores.
How to download the CCMT 2026 Round 3 allotment result
Candidates can follow these steps to check their allotment status:
- Visit the official website at ccmt.admissions.nic.in.
- Click on the “View Round 3 Seat Allotment Result for
CCMT 2026 ” link available on the homepage. - Enter your GATE registration ID and password.
- Click on the Sign In button.
- Your Round 3 seat allotment result will appear on the screen.
- Download and save the allotment letter for future use.

What after Round 3 seat allotment?
Candidates who have received a seat allotment must pay the seat acceptance fee by June 30, 2026, up to 5:30 pm.After completing the fee payment, candidates are required to get their documents verified by July 1, 2026.Those who do not wish to continue with the allotted institute can choose to withdraw from the counselling process between July 2 and July 6, 2026.
Special round schedule
The CCMT authorities will publish the list of vacant seats on the official portal on July 13, 2026.The registration process for the CCMT 2026 Special Round will begin from July 14, 2026, giving eligible candidates another opportunity to secure admission in participating institutes.Candidates are advised to complete all admission-related formalities within the prescribed deadlines and regularly visit the official CCMT website for the latest counselling updates.
