CBSE Re-Evaluation Portal Goes Live
The CBSE opened the Verification of Marks and Re-evaluation Portal on Tuesday, allowing students who received scanned copies of their answer sheets to apply online for verification and re-evaluation of their marks. The board has clarified that this application process will remain open until June 6, 2026.
The window has been opened amid an escalating controversy over the board’s newly introduced On-Screen Marking (OSM) system. Amid mounting backlash over the OSM controversy, CBSE revised the fee structure for post-result services.

However, just a few hours after the portal went live, several students reported technical glitches. One student said they were unable to log in even after entering all details correctly.
“Please increase the login time limit to at least two hours. It takes a lot of time to carefully enter reasons and identify questions. I spent two hours entering details for four questions, but when I proceeded to payment, I was redirected to the login page,” another user wrote.
