The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is yet to release the official date sheet for the 2027 Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. Students appearing for the exams are currently waiting for the subject-wise schedule to plan their preparation.

The official CBSE website has not listed the 2027 board exam timetable yet. However, based on the expected examination timeline, the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams are likely to be conducted from February 2027 onwards. Students are advised to treat any subject-wise dates circulating online as tentative until CBSE issues the official date sheet.

The 2027 examination cycle will be important for Class 10 students as CBSE’s two-exam system will continue. Under this system, students have a main board examination and a second examination opportunity under the board’s rules.

For Class 12 students, the board examination will continue to be conducted once in the academic year. The final subject-wise schedule will confirm the dates for Science, Commerce, Arts and other streams.

When Will CBSE Release The 2027 Date Sheet?

CBSE has not announced a fixed date for releasing the 2027 timetable. The board released the tentative date sheet for the 2026 examinations on September 24, 2025, but the 2027 schedule has not followed the same timeline so far.

Students should therefore rely on the official CBSE website for the final timetable rather than following unconfirmed dates shared on social media or other websites.

CBSE 2027 Sample Papers Released

While students are waiting for the date sheet, CBSE has already made sample question papers and marking schemes available for the 2026-27 academic session. These can help students understand the question pattern and assessment approach while preparing for the board exams.

Students can also use their syllabus, NCERT textbooks and previous years’ question papers to structure their preparation. Once CBSE releases the official date sheet, students should revise their study schedule according to the gap between individual examinations.
