Nearly 18.5 lakh students who appeared for the Class 12 exams are eagerly awaiting their scores. Considering the early announcement of the Class 10 results this year and the use of the on-screen marking system, the CBSE Class 12 results 2026 are likely to be released by the end of April.

A student who scores 33 per cent in the CBSE exam will be declared pass. If a student falls short of this requirement by one mark or so, grace marks may be awarded. Those scoring below this may apply for the compartment exam or will have to repeat the year.
