CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Students who are not satisfied with their results will be able to apply for the revaluation process on the official website -cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the CBSE 12th Result 2026. Students who are not satisfied with their results will be able to apply for the revaluation process on the official website – cbseresults.nic.in or cbse.gov.in.

This year, a total of 17,80,365 students registered for the CBSE Class 12 examinations, of whom 17,68,968 appeared and 15,07,109 passed. The overall pass percentage is 85.20%. In comparison, 88.39% of students passed last year, which is 3.19% higher than this year, while 87.98% cleared the exam in 2024, indicating a decline in the pass rate over the years. A total of 1,63,000 students have been placed in the compartment category.
CBSE allows students to get their answer sheets re-evaluated, including the marks awarded, the examiner’s remarks, and any apparent errors. Once students obtain a photocopy of their answer sheet, they may apply for verification of marks, re-evaluation of specific questions, or both, as per the prescribed procedure.

Obtain Photocopy Of Evaluated Answer Sheet
Step 1: Visit the official CBSE portal: cbse.gov.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply for Answer Book’
Step 3: Enter required details such as Roll Number, Class, and Subject
Step 4: Pay the applicable fee
Step 5: Download the photocopy once it’s available
Verification of Marks
After obtaining the photocopy, students can verify if marks were calculated correctly.
Step 1: Return to the official CBSE website – cbse.gov.in
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply for Re-verification’
Step 3: Pay the application fee and submit the application
Step 4: Save the acknowledgement
Re-evaluation of Specific Answers
Only students who have obtained the photocopy can apply for re-evaluation
Step 1: Select up to 10 questions per subject for re-evaluation
Step 2: Pay the applicable fee
Step 3: Submit the application through the same portal
Students must note that the marks after re-evaluation are final and cannot be changed again.
CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: Application Fees
The verification of marks is Rs 500; while the photocopy of evaluated answer book is Rs 700; and re-evaluation is Rs 100. The results of the verification process will be communicated via the same login credentials used to request the scanned answer sheets.
