CBSE has activated the verification and re-evaluation portal for Class 12 students. Along with this, the board has shared two key updates: one about the requirement of Aadhaar card details and another explaining the step-by-step process through a video tutorial. In this tutorial, the board has shown how students can verify their marks even if they do not have their own Aadhaar card.

Who Can Apply For Marks Verification

According to the CBSE tutorial video, only those students who have already obtained a photocopy of their evaluated answer sheets are eligible to apply for verification or re-evaluation. Before submitting a request, candidates should carefully compare their answers with the official marking scheme and identify any major errors in the evaluation.

How To Apply If You Don’t Have Aadhar Card

Aadhaar card details are required to log in to the verification portal. However, CBSE has given some relief to students who do not have their own Aadhaar card. Such students may use the Aadhaar card details of their parent, relative, or guardian.

How To Apply For Marks Verification

— First, visit the official CBSE website cbse.gov.in or the post-result portal – postresult.cbseit.in/pvr.

— Log in using your User ID or Roll Number, your mother’s or father’s name, Admit Card ID or password, and Aadhaar card details.

— Click on ‘Save and Continue to Preview.’ If you wish to verify marks for another subject, click on ‘Make Another Verification Request.’

— Pay the application fee online.

— Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Marks Verification Fee

Students must pay Rs 100 per answer sheet and Rs 25 per question for marks verification. The fee for re-evaluation is Rs 25 per question.
