UP board 10th, 12th result today: Once announced, students can check their scores on the official websites, upmspresults.nic.in and upmsp.edu.in.
The wait is finally coming to an end for lakhs of students in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will declare the Class 10 and Class 12 results on April 23, 2026, at 4 pm.
With more than 55 lakh students checking their scores at the same time, the official website usually slows down within minutes. That’s why this year, like recent years, students have a few other ways to access their results without the stress.

The usual way, but not always the easiest
Most students will first try the official websites like upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in. All you need is your roll number and a few basic details.
But if you’ve checked results before, you already know how this goes. Pages take forever to load, or sometimes don’t open at all in the first hour. That’s normal when millions log in together.
DigiLocker is often the fastest option
If you want a smoother experience, DigiLocker is usually the better bet. You just log in with your mobile number or Aadhaar-linked account, head to the education section, and look for UP Board results.
What makes this useful is that your marksheet gets stored there as a digital document. You can download it, share it, or just keep it saved for later. Many colleges and institutions now accept DigiLocker documents, so it’s not just a backup option anymore.
UMANG works as a backup when websites slow down
Another option is the UMANG app. It’s a government app that brings multiple services into one place, including board results.
Once you log in, you can search for UPMSP services, enter your roll number, and check your result. It’s not always the first thing students think of, but it can be really helpful when the main website is lagging.
SMS still works when nothing else does
If your internet is slow or not working at all, SMS is still a reliable option. You just send your roll number in the required format, and your result is sent back to your phone.
It may feel a bit old-school, but on result day, it can actually be the quickest way to get your marks.
One important thing to keep in mind
The marksheet you see online will be provisional. You’ll still need to collect the original one from your school later.
That’s the version you’ll use for admissions and official paperwork.
A simple tip for result day
Don’t depend on just one method. If the website isn’t opening, switch to DigiLocker or SMS instead of refreshing the same page again and again.
Result day is always a bit chaotic, but with multiple options available now, getting your marks doesn’t have to be.
