Harshil Gupta, a talented student from Udaipur, the city of lakes, has created history with his outstanding performance in the 2026 National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) results, bringing pride and recognition to the city. Harshil achieved an impressive All India Rank (AIR) of 22 by scoring 700 out of 720 marks in one of the country’s most competitive medical entrance examinations.
His remarkable achievement has filled his family, teachers, friends, and the entire city with immense happiness and pride. Sharing the reason behind his success, Harshil said that consistent, disciplined, and focused preparation over the last two years played a crucial role. He dedicated around 6 to 7 hours every day to his studies and also spent nearly an hour playing outdoor games to maintain a healthy balance between physical fitness and mental well-being. According to him, managing stress and taking care of mental health is extremely important during the demanding journey of exam preparation.
One of the most notable aspects of Harshil’s preparation was that he stayed away from an Android mobile phone throughout his two-year NEET preparation period. He completely relied on offline studies and classroom learning through coaching. He believes that regular practice, strong self-confidence, and a well-planned strategy were the key factors that helped him achieve this remarkable rank.
Harshil credited his success to the constant support and guidance of his parents, teachers, and mentors. His father, Dr. Pankaj Gupta, and mother, Dr. Kalpana Gupta, are both respected doctors in the medical field. Harshil shared that growing up in a medical family, along with the encouragement, guidance, and support of his parents and teachers, became his greatest source of motivation and strength.
Following this outstanding achievement, Harshil’s teachers, relatives, and well-wishers visited his home to congratulate him and wish him a successful future. His accomplishment has become a source of inspiration for countless students across the country who aspire to build careers in medicine.
Harshil was not the only student from Udaipur to shine in NEET-UG 2026. Several other talented students from the city also secured remarkable All India Ranks, bringing further glory to Udaipur. Among them, Meett Ahuja secured AIR 142, Saurabh Pandya achieved AIR 279, Gaurav secured AIR 326, and Nakshatra Raj obtained AIR 415.
Other successful students included Hiya Champawat (AIR 440), Deshna Jain (AIR 654), Ayesha Bano (AIR 886), Khushi Kumari (AIR 913), Chirag Katara (AIR 1015), Anuj Parmar (AIR 1116), Aditi Jain (AIR 1558), Hemlata Kunwar Chudawat (AIR 1704), Nakul Patidar and Kunal Shaurya (AIR 1749), Pankaj Kumar (AIR 1851), and Divyansh Tanter (AIR 1867).
Harshil Gupta studied 6 to 7 hours daily and played outdoor games for an hour for physical and mental well-being. He avoided mobile phones for two years, relying on offline studies and coaching. He also emphasized consistent, disciplined, and focused preparation.
