The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) has released four recruitment notifications for filling a total of 7,437 vacancies in the Police, Special Protection Force (SPF), Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence, Prisons and Correctional Services departments. The board will soon announce the application submission dates, selection process, and other key schedules. Therefore, interested candidates are advised to prepare the necessary documents in advance, check the official advertisements from time to time, and apply online within the deadline. Before applying, candidates should get examined by a civil surgeon to ensure that they meet the required physical standards and medical qualifications.
TSLPRB Recruitment 2026: Vacancy Details
According to this notification, the maximum vacancies are in the Police Department. Sub Inspector (Civil) 148, Reserve SI (AR) 14, Reserve SI (TGSP) 12, Reserve SI (SARCPL) 3, Assistant Sub Inspector – Fingerprint Bureau 23 posts will be filled. Furthermore, recruitment will be done for Police Constable (Civil) 3,697, Police Constable (AR) 1,052, SARCPL Constable 24, Driver PTO 20, and Mechanic PTO 7 posts.
Notification has been issued for 44 Sub Inspector and 1,380 Constable posts in Special Protection Force (SPF). 39 Station Fire Officer and 751 Fire Fighter posts will be filled in Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency and Civil Defence Department. 14 Deputy Jailer (Male), 1 Deputy Jailer (Female), 196 Warder (Male) and 12 Warder (Female) posts are available in Jails & Correctional Services Department.
The board has also advised to prepare the necessary documents in advance at the time of application. SC candidates should submit a community certificate with the latest sub-categorization (Group-I, II, III). EWS candidates should submit a certificate issued on or after April 1, 2026. BC candidates should also keep a non-creamy layer certificate obtained on or after April 1, 2026 ready. Similarly, bonafide certificates of studying from class 1 to 7 or relevant residential certificates will be required for verification of locality. Candidates belonging to special reservation categories will also have to submit relevant certificates.
TSLPRB Recruitment 2026: Salary Details
The candidates selected through the latest recruitment notification released by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will get attractive salaries depending on the post. The pay scale for various Sub Inspector (SI) posts in the police department ranges from Rs 42,300 to Rs 1,15,270 per month, while the pay scale for Station Fire Officer and Deputy Jailer posts ranges from Rs 38,890 to Rs 1,12,510 per month.
