NEET UG Re-Exam Results 2026: Soon after the result declaration, several aspirants began raising concerns over alleged discrepancies in their OMR sheets, and recorded responses.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the results of the NEET UG Re-Examination 2026 on July 16, with more than 20 lakh candidates appearing for the test and 11.21 lakh candidates qualifying. Candidates can access their scorecards through the official NTA website, neet.nta.nic.in.

However, soon after the result declaration, several NEET aspirants began raising concerns over alleged discrepancies in their marks, OMR sheets, and recorded responses. Multiple candidates have claimed that the scores displayed in their results do not match their expected marks based on their responses and the official answer key.

One candidate from Madhepura, Bihar, claimed that despite appearing for the examination, her result showed her status as “ABSENT”. According to the student, she contacted NTA multiple times through emails regarding the issue but has not received a response so far.

In another case, NEET UG 2026 candidate Ibtesham Nasar took to social media platform X, alleging that the OMR sheet uploaded by NTA did not belong to her. Her post has gained widespread attention, with users debating whether the issue points to a possible administrative error or requires further verification.

She further claimed that she had intentionally left 12 questions unanswered, but the uploaded OMR showed responses marked for all questions. The candidate said she challenged several responses through the official process and paid Rs 27,800 in challenge fees at Rs 200 per question. “Despite this, I have received no response from NTA,” she claimed.

Another candidate, Arya Singh, has also raised concerns regarding her marks. According to her family, her OMR evaluation suggested a score of 609 marks, but the declared result showed 540 marks. The family claimed that while repeatedly checking the website, the score later appeared as 167 marks, raising further questions about the displayed result

Similar concerns have been shared by other candidates on social media. A candidate named Abhay Yadav claimed on X that he was expecting 634 marks based on the answer key, but the result displayed 164 marks. He also alleged that the OMR sheet shown in the result did not match his marked responses and that several unanswered questions appeared differently.

Another aspirant alleged that after matching responses with the official answer key, they expected more than 470 marks, but the result showed around 100 marks. The candidate also claimed that the OMR sheet could not be accessed during the July 13–15 display period.

The allegations have led to discussions among NEET aspirants regarding transparency in the evaluation process. Candidates are demanding clarification from NTA and requesting verification of disputed OMR sheets and marks.

As of now, NTA has not issued a detailed public statement addressing these individual complaints. Candidates facing discrepancies are advised to follow official communication channels and grievance procedures announced by the agency.
