The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET UG Counselling 2026 schedule for admission to MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) and other participating institutes. Along with the counselling calendar, MCC has also released the NEET UG Information Bulletin 2026, detailing the admission process, eligibility, counselling rules and important dates.

Round 1 Schedule
The verification of the tentative seat matrix will take place on August 4, 2026. Registration and fee payment will be open from August 5 to August 12 (up to 3 pm). Candidates can pay the counselling fee until 6 pm on August 12.

Choice filling will be available from August 6 to August 13 (11 am), while choice locking will be open from 4 pm on August 12 to 11 am on August 13. Seat allotment will be processed between August 13 and August 16, and the Round 1 result will be announced on August 17.

Round 2 Schedule
The tentative seat matrix will be verified on August 24. Candidates can register and pay the fee from August 25 to August 29 (up to 3 pm), with payment allowed until 6 pm.

Choice filling will be held from August 25 to August 30 (11 pm), while choice locking will take place between 4 pm and 11 pm on August 30. Seat allotment processing is scheduled for August 31 to September 1, and the Round 2 result will be declared on September 2.

Round 3 Schedule
Verification of the seat matrix is scheduled for September 10. Registration and payment will be open from September 11 to September 15 (up to 3 pm), with fee payment allowed until 6 pm.

Choice filling will continue from September 11 to September 16 (11 am). Choice locking will be available from 4 pm on September 15 to 11 am on September 16. Seat allotment processing will take place on September 16 and 17, while the Round 3 result will be announced on September 18.

New Counselling Rules
This year’s Information Bulletin introduces several changes, including online completion of admission formalities, one-time physical reporting after final admission, Freeze and Float options after seat allotment, online resignation through the MCC portal, enhanced digital document verification, separate provisions for NRI candidates, and revised reporting and upgradation guidelines.

Documents Required
Candidates should keep the following documents ready before registration: NEET UG 2026 Admit Card, NEET UG 2026 Scorecard, Class 10 Certificate, Class 12 Mark Sheet and Passing Certificate, Valid Photo ID, Passport-size photographs, Category Certificate (if applicable), PwD Certificate (if applicable), NRI documents (where applicable).
