The NEET UG 2026 re-examination, conducted for the country’s largest medical entrance test, was held on June 21, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the re-exam are now waiting for the announcement of their results. According to NTA Director General (DG) Abhishek Singh, the results will be released as soon as possible. With the objection window for the provisional answer key now closed, candidates are awaiting the final answer key and scorecards.
Normally, NEET UG results are declared around 30–40 days after the examination. However, due to delays caused by the NEET UG paper leak issue, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is working on an expedited timeline. The official date and time for the result announcement have not yet been confirmed by the NTA, though the results are expected to be released in the first few weeks of July.
Once the result link is activated, candidates will be able to download their scorecards. Following this, the counselling and admission process for MBBS and BDS programmes in medical colleges across India will begin.
How To Check NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Result?
After the NEET UG re-exam result is announced, candidates can download their scorecard by following these steps:
Step 1: Visit the official NTA website — neet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link titled “NEET UG 2026 – Re-Exam Result” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security pin shown on the screen.
Step 4: Submit the details to view your NEET UG result and rank card.
Step 5: Download and take a printout of the result page for future reference and the counselling process.
Meanwhile, candidates have received some relief even before the result announcement. As per the provisional answer key released by the NTA, one Physics question has been removed. Objections were raised regarding questions from topics such as electromagnetic waves and vernier calipers during the challenge period. Since the NEET UG exam was conducted in a single shift, all candidates will receive four bonus marks for the dropped question.
