CBSE 12th merit list 2026: Meet the toppers, know their success strategies



The CBSE declared the Class 12 results on May 13, 2026, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.20 per cent, a decline from last year’s 88.39 per cent. Over 18 lakh students appeared for the exams, with girls outperforming boys by 6.73 percentage points. Trivandrum emerged as the top-performing region at 95.62 per cent, while Prayagraj lagged at 72.43 per cent. Though CBSE has stopped releasing merit list since 2020, students who secured 100 per cent marks in the board exam can claim as toppers.
