The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started releasing the results of the Class 12 re-evaluation and verification process. CBSE informed that around 87 per cent of students who applied for verification and re-evaluation have received their updated results so far.

The board has made revised mark sheets available for students whose marks have changed after the review process. However, several students have expressed disappointment over the revised scores, claiming that the changes in marks were lower than expected.

Taking to microblogging site X, one student wrote that five marks should have been added after correction of five MCQ answers, but only four marks were increased. While another student expressed frustration, saying an increase of 36 marks was expected but received only one additional mark after re-evaluation.

A student also questioned discrepancies in the revised scores, stating that 15 out of 16 expected marks were increased in one subject, but in Physics—where only one mark was requested—the increase was three marks, while no change was made in English despite applying for an increase of five marks. The student added that even one additional mark would help them meet the 75 per cent JEE eligibility criteria.

While CBSE continues to release pending results, students awaiting updates are advised to keep checking their DigiLocker accounts for their final revised marks. Students can check their updated results by visiting results.digilocker.gov.in and logging in with their credentials. The board has assured students whose results are still pending that there is no need to worry, as the remaining results will be released in phases.
