NIOS Class 12 Result Declared: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has announced the Class 12 (Senior Secondary) public exam results for the April/May 2026 session. Students can now check their results on the official websites, nios.ac.in and results.nios.ac.in. To access the NIOS results 2026, students must have their enrolment number and admit card handy. Students are required to secure at least 33% marks in five subjects to be declared successful.
Steps To Check NIOS Class 12 Result 2026
Students can check their results by following the simple steps given below:
Step 1: Visit the official NIOS website – nios.ac.in or results.nios.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for the Class 12 result.
Step 3: Enter your enrollment number.

Students can apply for re-checking via the student portal sdmis.nios.ac.in starting June 10. While result corrections or discrepancies must be reported within 30 days, and the rechecking and re-evaluation window will be open for 15 days starting June 10. Students can also write to rcell@nios.ac.in for any queries related to their results.
Steps To Apply For NIOS 12th Result Correction
Step 1: Log in to the student dashboard at sdmis.nios.ac.in.
Step 2: Choose the subject you want to apply for correction.
Step 3: Select the relevant correction type:
Practical marks not included
Tutor Marked Assignment (TMA) marks missing
Transfer of Credit (TOC) marks missing
Marked “ABSENT” in theory despite appearing
Step 4: Choose a payment gateway and pay the required processing fee (each correction type is charged separately).
Step 5: Save the payment receipt.
Students can track their correction request status under the “My Request” section in the Result Correction tab. They can also collect their marks statement-cum-certificate and migration-cum-transfer certificate from their respective study centres free of cost.
