‘Yay! All India Rank 2’: NEET 2026 AIR 2 Panshul Bansal’s Family Reaction Wins The Internet

The moment Panshul Bansal found out he had secured All India Rank (AIR) 2 in NEET 2026 is now melting hearts across the internet. A video shared by Allen Delhi, where the Haryana student prepared for the medical entrance exam over the past two years, captures the emotional celebration inside his home as the results appeared on the screen.

“Result reaction from Panshul Bansal AIR 2 NEET 2026,” read the caption accompanying the Instagram post. The clip shows Bansal sitting in front of the computer with his family gathered around him. Seconds later, one family member excitedly shouts:

“Yay! All India rank 2,”

The room instantly erupts in celebration as the 17-year-old, who scored an incredible 715 out of 720, embraces his loved ones in a heartwarming moment that has now gone viral. One user commented on the post, “Congratulations champ,” while another added, “Allen being Allen, the greatest of all. Congratulations!”

This year’s NEET-UG 2026 saw an enormous turnout. According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, with 11.21 lakh qualifying. More than 58 per cent of those who qualified were women, while over 93 per cent of candidates were appearing for NEET for the first time.

Behind Panshul’s remarkable result, however, was a routine that wasn’t built around endless hours with textbooks. Speaking to The Indian Express, Bansal revealed that he usually woke up at 6:30 am, but didn’t begin studying immediately. Instead, he would start around 9 am, take a long lunch break, resume in the afternoon, and then head out to play before returning to study in the evening.

Perhaps the most surprising part of his routine was what he refused to sacrifice.

“I didn’t compromise on spending time with family or friends.”

The NTA also revealed that 138 candidates scored above 690 out of 720, with the Top 17 rankers, who scored more than 705 marks, coming from eight states: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

NEET UG 2026 results will impact medical college admissions by determining eligibility based on All India Rank (AIR). A higher rank, such as AIR 1-100, increases the chance of admission to prestigious government medical colleges like AIIMS.
