WBJEE Counselling 2026: Candidate registration, payment of the registration fee, and choice filling for the first round began today, June 30 and will conclude on July 5.

WBJEE 2026 counselling process is underway on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the detailed counselling schedule for admissions to engineering, technology, and architecture programmes. According to the notification, the WBJEE 2026 counselling process will be conducted in multiple phases on the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in/wbjee.
Candidate registration, payment of the registration fee, and choice filling for the first round began today, June 30 and will conclude on July 5. The first round of seat allotment results will be announced on July 7.
Candidates allotted seats in the first round must complete the seat acceptance fee payment, document verification, and admission formalities between July 7 and July 11. Registration and choice filling for the second round will take place from July 13 to July 17, with seat allotment results scheduled to be published on July 21. Registration for the third and final round will be held from July 24 to July 26, while the final seat allotment results will be declared on July 28.
“The e-counselling process will facilitate seat allotment to colleges, institutions, and courses based on candidates’ merit ranks and the choices they submit. By registering for e-counselling, candidates agree to abide by all the rules, regulations, and guidelines prescribed by the Board. Candidates are advised to read and understand these guidelines carefully. The Board shall not be responsible for any inconvenience arising from a candidate’s failure to understand or comply with the prescribed rules,” states the official notice.

Earlier, the WBJEEB announced the examination results on June 18, just 26 days after the entrance test was conducted on May 24. According to the board, 1,20,856 candidates had registered for this year’s examination, of whom 94,901 appeared, recording an attendance rate of 78.52%.
Of the candidates who appeared, 67,380 were male and 27,521 were female. A total of 92,753 candidates qualified, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 97.74%. Among the successful candidates, 73,665 were from West Bengal (79.42%), while 19,088 were from outside the state (20.58%).
