Several CBSE Class 12 students have reported technical issues with the board’s re-evaluation portal, raising concerns over payment status errors, login failures, and usability glitches.
A number of students claimed that despite successfully paying the re-evaluation fee, the portal continues to show the status as “payment pending.” One student said, “I paid money for re-evaluation of marks but it still shows pending payment. What should I do?” Another added that the amount was deducted from their account over 20 hours ago, yet the payment status has not been updated.

Apart from payment-related concerns, students have also flagged login issues. “I have been trying to log in since yesterday morning but it keeps showing ‘verification failed’. How long do I have to wait for this?” a student said, urging CBSE to resolve the issue at the earliest.
Some users also pointed out usability challenges on the portal. One student questioned why the platform blocks copy-paste functionality, noting that manually entering details increases the risk of session timeouts and data entry errors. “Typing everything manually takes forever. Allow copy-paste so students can fill forms quickly and safeguard their data,” the student said.

What CBSE Said?
Responding to the complaints, CBSE has asked students facing issues to share details such as Roll Number, Application Number, Subject, School Address, and Regional Office via direct message for further investigation.
The board also advised students encountering verification errors to ensure that Aadhaar details and login credentials are entered correctly. It clarified that the password and Admit Card ID are the same.
Earlier, the CBSE chairman and secretary were transferred. An inquiry committee has also been set up to examine the board’s procurement process for on-screen marking (OSM) services. CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh, IAS, was in charge of the board’s overall functioning and examination reforms, while Secretary Himanshu Gupta, IAS, handled administration, finance, and affiliations. The committee will also look into whether all established procedures were followed in the selection of these services.
