The Union Public Service Commission is expected to announce the results of the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination I 2026 soon on its official website. As per media reports, the results may be declared today, May 6, 2026.

The entrance examination was held on April 12, 2026, at centres across the country, with thousands of candidates appearing for admission to the academies.

The results will be released as a list of roll numbers of candidates who have qualified the written examination. Those who pass will be eligible to appear for the Services Selection Board interview, which assesses candidates’ intelligence and personality over several days.

Steps To Check UPSC NDA I Result 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to view their results on the official website:

— Visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission at upsc.gov.in

— Click on the link titled “NDA and NA I 2026 Result” on the homepage

— Open the PDF file that appears on the screen

— Search for your name

— Download and save the file for future reference

Last year, Vaibhav Kumar secured the first rank in the country followed by Deepanshu and Abhishek Kumar, who grabbed the second and third spots, respectively. Candidates’ scorecards will be available on the commission’s website for 30 days, starting 15 days from the date of the final result of the OTA course. A total of 735 candidates were selected for the NDA and Naval Academy courses. The exam was conducted by the UPSC on April 13, 2025.

“To be acceptable, candidates for the Army/Navy/Naval Academy and Air Force should secure the minimum qualifying marks separately in (i) Written examination as fixed by the Commission at their discretion and (ii) Officer Potentiality Test as fixed by the Services Selection Board at their discretion. Over and above candidates for the Air Force, and all the SSB qualified candidates as per their willingness, eligibility and preference for flying branch of Air Force, should separately qualify the CPSS,” states the official notice by UPSC.
