The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the notification for the PCS 2026 recruitment examination. Through this recruitment drive, the commission has invited applications for 500 posts. However, UPPSC has clarified that the number of vacancies may increase in the future if additional posts are received from different departments, making this an important opportunity for PCS candidates. Those who have completed graduation and are between 21 and 40 years of age can apply for the recruitment.
As per the official notification issued by UPPSC, the online application process for PCS 2026 started on June 25, 2026. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications through the commission’s official website at uppsc.up.nic.in. The last date to apply online is July 27, 2026. Candidates are advised to complete the application process well before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
UPPSC has also provided a facility for candidates to make corrections in their application forms. The last date for application modifications, corrections, and fee-related reconciliation is August 3, 2026. Candidates who make any mistakes while filling out the form can rectify them within the given time period.
OTR Number Mandatory for Application
The commission has made it compulsory for candidates to have a One-Time Registration (OTR) number before applying for PCS 2026. Applicants without an OTR number will not be able to complete the application process.
Candidates who have not yet generated their OTR number must complete the registration process through the UPPSC website at least 72 hours before submitting the PCS application. After receiving the OTR number, candidates will be able to proceed with the recruitment application.
