UP Police Constable Result & Cut Off 2026 Released: DV-PST Starts Aug 17; Know Expected Salary & Final Selection Chances
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRB) has declared the UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2026 results today, July 31. A total of 28,86,797 candidates had applied for 32,679 Constable Civil Police and equivalent posts, including 19,62,560 men and 9,24,237 women. Out of them, 76,184 candidates have qualified the written examination and will now appear for the Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST), scheduled to begin from August 17, 2026. The written examination was conducted on June 8, 9, and 10, 2026. The final result and merit list are now available on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The recruitment process began with the notification issued on December 31, 2025, when online registrations also commenced. The last date to submit applications and fees was January 30, 2026, while the application correction window remained open from January 31 to February 3. Exam city slips were released on June 1, followed by admit cards on June 4. The written examination was conducted in offline OMR mode and consisted of 150 objective-type questions carrying a total of 300 marks. The expected category-wise cutoff is as follows: – General (UR): 185–195 marks (Male), 180–190 marks (Female); OBC: 175–185 marks (Male), 170–180 marks (Female); SC: 150–160 marks (Male), 145–155 marks (Female); and ST: 115–125 marks (Male), 110–120 marks (Female) These are expected cutoffs based on exam analysis. Candidates who have qualified the written examination will next undergo Document Verification (DV), followed by the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The next phase of the recruitment process is scheduled to begin on August 17, 2026. The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be qualifying in nature. Male candidates must complete a 4.8-kilometre run in 25 minutes, while female candidates will have to complete a 2.4-kilometre run in 14 minutes.
