TNEA Rank List 2026 Out: Candidates can address any concerns they may have regarding their rank by July 6 following which the counselling process will start.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) rank list 2026 today, July 1. Candidates who took the exam and are awaiting admission to BE/B.Tech courses can now access their TNEA 2026 rank via the official website —tneaonline.org. To access the TNEA 2026 rank list, candidates will need to provide their login information, such as their application number and password.
Minister Higher Education Dept Tamil Nadu, Viswanathan Perumal announced the ranking list for engineering courses released. As many as 2,45,235 people applied for engineering courses this year of which 2,35,617 have made it to the merit list. Akshitha N from Dharmapuri has topped the engineering exam.

Step 1. Go to tneaonline.org, TNEA’s official website.
Step 2. Check for the latest announcement link ‘TNEA 2026 rank list’ from the homepage.
Step 3. Now, provide the necessary login information and press the submit button.
Step 4. The TNEA rank list 2026 pdf will show up on your screen.
Step 5. Download the TNEA rank list and save for later use.
TNEA Rank List 2026: What’s Next
Candidates can address any concerns they may have regarding their rank by July 6. Following the grievance submission period, the counselling process will start, which will include registration, choice-filling, seat allotment and college reporting.
Those who are selected for further consideration based on their TNEA 2026 ranking may take part in the counselling process. Candidates have to select which colleges and courses they want to take through the counselling process. The final seat distribution will be determined by the rank list, seat availability and candidate preferences. On the official website, the outcome of the final seat distribution will be announced. Those who are chosen will need to report to the designated institutions to pay their admissions charges.
