The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) will declare the TN Class 10 SSLC results 2026 soon. According to media reports, the TN SSLC results 2026 will be out on May 20, 2026. Once declared, the results will be available for download on the official website – dge.tn.gov.in.
Nearly 9 lakh students across the state are waiting for the results. This includes 8,82,806 school students and 13,744 private candidates who appeared for the Class 10 board examinations, which began on March 11 across Tamil Nadu. The evaluation of answer sheets has been completed, and the Directorate is now making final arrangements for the announcement of the results.

TN SSLC Result 2026: Passing Marks, Revaluation
To pass the TN SSLC board exams, students need at least 35 out of 100 marks. In the theory exam, they must score at least 20 out of 75, and in the practical exam, they need at least 15 out of 25 marks.
After the results are released, the Tamil Nadu board provides students with an option to apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. During the re-evaluation window, students can raise queries and choose specific questions they want to be reviewed. An application fee of Rs 250 is usually charged for the process.
TN SSLC Result 2026: Past Year Result Statistics
Last year, 93.80% of students passed the TN SSLC exam. Girls achieved a higher pass percentage of 95.88%, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 91.74%. In 2024, the TN Class 10 board exam results were announced on May 10, with an overall pass percentage of 91.55%.
