TN 12th Result 2026 Live Updates: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) will declare the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2026 or class 12th results today, May 8 at 9:30 am. Last year too, the TN board had announced the 12th result on May 8. Once announced, students can check their TN 12th exam results on the official websites at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Arrangements have also been made to send the results via SMS.

With the support of the Tamil Nadu E-Governance Agency, a facility to check results through WhatsApp has been introduced for the first time this year. By sending a text message saying “Hi” to the WhatsApp number 7845252525, the exam results will be sent via WhatsApp.

The Class 12 public examination for students following the Tamil Nadu state syllabus was conducted from March 2 to 26, with about 8 lakh students appearing. A total of 8,82,806 regular students and 13,744 private candidates took the examination this time.
