Registration for Round 2 of the MCC NEET UG 2026 counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats will close today, September 8. Candidates who have not yet registered and wish to participate in the second round of the centralised counselling process must complete registration and fee payment by today.
Candidates who register for Round 2 can proceed to choice filling and locking, with the choice-filling process scheduled to continue until September 9. The Round 2 seat allotment is scheduled to be processed on September 9 and 10, with the result expected on September 11.

Newly Added Seats
The Round 2 counselling comes with an expanded seat matrix. MCC has released a list of 659 newly added MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing seats for the round, alongside clear-vacancy and virtual-vacancy lists. The newly added seats provide additional options for candidates participating in Round 2.
According to an MCC notice issued on September 5, the additional seats were added to the AIQ seat matrix after the committee received information from the concerned medical colleges. The new seats are available at Bagalkote Medical College and Research Institute, Government Medical College, Chapra (Saran), and Shri Ram Janki Medical College and Hospital, Samastipur.
Bagalkote Medical College and Research Institute has been allotted 15 new MBBS AIQ seats, while Government Medical College, Chapra has received seven seats. Shri Ram Janki Medical College and Hospital, Samastipur has received eight seats, taking the total number of newly added seats to 30.
The seats have been distributed across various categories, including Unreserved, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Section and PwD categories.
Candidates should complete the registration and fee-payment process before the deadline and carefully review the available seats before submitting their choices. The MCC has advised candidates to refer to the latest seat matrix and counselling notices on its official website for updates.
