Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will close the application process for the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2026 today, June 2. Candidates interested in applying for JEE Advanced AAT 2026 can do so by visiting the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates can apply till 5 pm today. Only those candidates who have passed the JEE Advanced are eligible to appear for the architecture exam.

AAT will be conducted on June 4 in a single shift from 9 am to noon and the result will be declared on June 7 at 5 pm. The Architecture Aptitude Test is a mandatory entrance exam for students seeking admission to the BArch courses at IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU, and IIT Roorkee. The performance in the Class 12 (or equivalent) board exam will continue to be the criterion for admission to the BArch curriculum, in addition to passing the AAT.

JEE Advanced AAT 2026: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Go to the official website of JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in

Step 2: Once the link is active, search and click on the registration link for JEE Advanced AAT 2026.

Step 3: To log in, enter your registration details and date of birth.

Step 4: Then fill out the JEE Advanced AAT 2026 application form as directed.

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Cross-check the details and submit the AAT 2026 form.

Step 7: Download and take a print out of the acknowledgment form for further use.

To qualify for admission to the BArch programme, candidates in the General category must have secured at least 75 per cent marks in Class 12. SC, ST, and PwD candidates need to have at least 65 per cent marks. Additionally, all candidates must have passed the Class 12th examination or its equivalent with a minimum of five subjects and be among the top 20 per cent of successful applicants in their respective boards.
