JAC Chandigarh counselling 2026: Round 2 choice filling starts today; check important dates
The Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has started the round 2 counselling process for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes for the 2026-27 academic session. Candidates taking part in the counselling can now complete the choice filling and locking process from July 15 to July 17, 2026, through the official website.Candidates are advised to carefully review and arrange their preferred institutes and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programmes before submitting their choices. The round 2 seat allotment will be prepared based on the candidate’s merit rank, preferences filled during counselling, and seat availability.According to the official schedule, the JAC Chandigarh round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on July 18, 2026.Candidates who receive a seat in round 2 will have to pay the admission fee and submit their willingness between July 18 and July 20, 2026, to confirm their admission.Those who do not wish to continue in the counselling process after receiving a seat in round 2 can withdraw their admission on July 21, 2026.
