Many students took to social media, claiming that portal issues, payment errors, and sudden logouts deprived them of the chance to apply for re-evaluation of their CBSE results.

Even after the closure of the CBSE post-result services portal, several Class 12 students and parents have taken to social media platform X to voice concerns over alleged technical glitches that they claim prevented them from applying for scanned answer-sheet copies and re-evaluation between June 2 and June 7.
Many users alleged that portal-related issues, login failures, payment errors, and unexpected logouts cost them the opportunity to seek re-evaluation of their results.
Login and Payment Issues
One X user claimed that despite applying for a scanned copy of the answer sheet, the document was never received. “My son has applied for the scanned copy, he hasn’t got it yet. Please give my money back of Rs 600. The portal is also not working. Shame on you CBSE, you’re playing with the future of students. Otherwise give grace marks and close the matter,” the user posted.
Several students also complained that they were unable to complete their applications due to website and login issues. “My website didn’t open yesterday. I was trying my best to submit for re-evaluation, but first the site didn’t open, then there were login issues. I want to apply for re-evaluation now, but I can’t because the notice period is over. What is this behaviour?” another user wrote.
“For revaluation my payment system was not working, so I did two times payment but still I haven’t got my refund back of one payment,” said another.
One user highlighted a case where a student allegedly lost an entire re-evaluation application after being logged out while submitting the form. “A student who had filled in 32 questions for re-evaluation got logged out on clicking ‘save and preview’, lost all progress and couldn’t log in again. The deadline passed an hour later,” the post claimed.

Hey CBSE, please take a note. This isn’t something that should happen with any student. ‘College Admissions Won’t Wait’
“The portal failed students in May and continues to fail many now. Some missed answer-sheet copies, others missed re-evaluation opportunities. College admissions won’t wait. Students should not suffer because of technical failures,” one user wrote on X.

After the re-evaluation portal closed, CBSE had issued a clarification stating that it had taken note of certain media reports and social media posts regarding the functioning of the Post-Result Services Portal. The board explained that the message “Roll Number Not Found” appears when a candidate did not successfully apply during the first phase of the post-result services process — the Answer Books Photocopy Application Window.
CBSE further reiterated that only candidates who had applied for scanned copies of their answer books during the photocopy application stage were eligible to proceed to the subsequent stages of verification of issues observed and re-evaluation of answers.
“As clearly outlined earlier, only those candidates who had applied for their scanned answer books during the preceding stage (Answer Books Photocopy) were eligible to avail the subsequent stage of Verification of Issues Observed and Re-evaluation of Answers,” the board said.
