CISF recruitment 2018: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has invited eligible candidates to fill 519 Sub-Inspectors posts. In a notification released last week, CISF has announced the last date to submit application form is December 15, 2018. The recruitment test will be through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE). The applications are to be submitted to the zonal DIsG. The eligible candidates will get only three chances to compete in the LDCE.

CISF recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria
As per the notification, only Constable/GD, Head Constable /GD, and Constable/Tradesmen who have completed five years regular service including the period of basic training in the grade or five years combined regular service as Constable/GD, Head Constable /GD, and Constable/Tradesmen as on August 1, 2018 are eligible to apply.
Besides, they should hold a graduation degree from a recognised university in India.
Age limit: The maximum age is 35 years as on August 1, 2018. There is relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
They should have a clean record. For physical standards, check the official website – cisf.gov.in.
Selection process: Besides checking the overall record, the CISF will conduct written exam which will have OMR based question paper. The objective paper will have multiple choice question paper consisting of 200 marks. In the third stage, the physical measurement will be calculated and in stage IV, physical efficiency test will be held. Stage V will be a detailed medical examination.

The final selection will be based on the merit list with general category candidates need to secure a minimum of 50 per cent marks while it is 45 per cent for SC/ST category.
