The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has said that complaints related to alleged answer sheet mismatches and discrepancies in the re-evaluation process are being addressed on a “top priority” basis, following concerns raised by several Class 12 students on social media, reported PTI.

According to board sources, CBSE is actively examining every complaint received through online and offline channels and remains committed to resolving student grievances. Senior officials are reportedly in constant touch with students and parents to provide support and ensure corrective action wherever required.

The clarification came after a Delhi-based Class 12 student, Vedant, claimed on social media that the Physics answer sheet uploaded by CBSE during the re-evaluation process did not belong to him. The post quickly went viral and triggered similar allegations from other students.

Responding to the issue, CBSE stated that the matter had been reviewed and that the correct copy of Vedant’s answer book had been sent to his registered email address. The board also said that necessary steps were being taken to update his result, if applicable.

“Whatever complaints are coming, online or offline, by any means, CBSE is actively taking them up,” a board source said, adding that all such cases are being examined seriously and some issues have already been resolved.

Another Class 12 student, Sanjana, also alleged that the Chemistry answer sheet uploaded during the re-evaluation process did not match her handwriting. She later shared that CBSE had responded to her email, confirmed the discrepancy, and assured her that the correct evaluated answer sheet would be shared and her result updated accordingly.

These developments come after there has been consistent complaints from students about CBSE’s post-result verification and re-evaluation process, including issues such as blurry scans, missing pages, and discrepancies in marks.
