Students can now access their scorecards through the official websites, dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. They can also check their scorecards via DigiLocker and SMS facility provided by TNDGE.

Around 9 lakh students are awaiting the results this year, including 8,82,806 regular school candidates and 13,744 private candidates. Students must note that the Tamil Nadu board has stopped ‘advertising’ or declaring the names of the top-ranking students since 2018. Only the city or district which registers the highest pass percentage. The move is aimed to reduce the ‘unhealthy’ competition.

To clear the TN SSLC examinations, students must secure a minimum of 35 marks out of 100 in every subject. For theory exams, at least 20 out of 75 marks are required, while practical exams require a minimum of 15 out of 25 marks.
