Haryana Board Class 12th Result 2026: The overall pass rate has seen a decline this year. While last year, 85.66% of the students passed, this year, 84.67% cleared the exam.

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) announced the Haryana Board Class 12 Result 2026 on the evening of May 12. Students can check their results on the official Haryana board website, bseh.org.in.
This year, 242,856 candidates appeared for the HBSE Class 12 regular examinations. Of these, 205,618 students passed, while 10,498 candidates did not qualify. The overall pass percentage is 84.67 per cent.
Girls have once again performed better than boys in the state board exams. The pass percentage for boys is 81.45 per cent, whereas girls achieved 87.97 per cent, marking a difference of 6.52 percentage points in favour of female students.
Among the different streams, Science recorded the highest pass percentage at 90.08 per cent, followed by Commerce at 88.20 per cent and Arts at 82.60 per cent.
The performance gap between rural and urban areas remained small. Rural students recorded a pass percentage of 84.98 per cent, slightly higher than the 83.91 per cent recorded by urban students.
In comparison, last year’s HBSE Class 12 results for 2025 were declared on May 13, with 85.66% of students passing the exam. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 89.41%, exceeding their male counterparts by 7.55%. This indicates that the overall pass rate has declined this year.
Haryana Board Class 12 Toppers List 2026
Deepika from Vivekanand Vidya Mandir Sr Sec School, Chillar (Rewari), secured the first rank in the state with 499 out of 500 marks. Udita from Vishvavara Kanya Gurukul, Rurki (Rohtak), achieved the second position with 498 marks. Yogita from Shiksha Bharti Global School, Budain (Jind), and Muskan from Gyan Bharti Public School, Dhamtan Sahib (Jind), jointly secured the third rank with 497 marks each.
Rank 1 – Deepika scored 499/500 and is a student of Vivekanand Vidya Mandir Sr Sec School, Chillar (Rewari)
Rank 2 – Udita scored 498/500 and is a student of Vishvavara Kanya Gurukul, Rurki (Rohtak)
Rank 3 – Yogita scored 497/500 and is a student of Shiksha Bharti Global School, Budain (Jind)
Rank 3 – Muskan scored 497/500 and is a student of Gyan Bharti Public School, Dhamtan Sahib (Jind)
The Haryana Board has announced that the re-evaluation and re-checking window will remain open for 20 days from the date of result declaration. Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply online through the official portal.
