The Indian team for the finals of the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 has been announced, and out of the five selected students, four are from ALLEN. Kanishk Jain, Riddhesh Bendale, Rishit Garg, and Swarit Joshi have earned their place in the final team. Swarit is in Class 11, while Kanishk, Riddhesh, and Rishit are in Class 12. The IPhO finals will be held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from July 4 to July 12, 2026.

In 2025 as well, 4 out of the 5 students in the Physics Olympiad finals were from ALLEN, and all of them went on to win medals, helping India secure fifth position globally. In the 2024-25 session, 19 students from the institute won medals for the country across various official International Olympiads. This tally comprised 8 Gold, 9 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals. These included 2 Gold medals each in Physics and Astronomy-Astrophysics, and 1 Gold medal each in Chemistry, Biology, Junior Astronomy-Astrophysics, and Junior Science. Similarly, 3 Silver medals were won in the Earth Science Olympiad; 2 each in Physics and Junior Science; and 1 each in the Chemistry and Astronomy-Astrophysics Junior Olympiads, along with 2 Bronze medals in the Earth Science Olympiad.

ALLEN CEO Nitin Kukreja said that the institute is committed to providing quality education and superior guidance, enabling students to excel not only in national examinations but also in international competitions. Every year, students from the institute bring laurels to the nation by winning medals in various International Olympiads, he added.

The IPhO selection process is conducted in four stages. The first stage comprises National Standard Examination in Physics (NSEP), followed by the Indian National Physics Olympiad (INPhO). The third stage includes Orientation-cum-Selection Camp (OCSC). Those who cleared all the rounds will now represent India at the 56th International Physics Olympiad.
