Is CBSE Releasing 12th Scorecards Today?

Based on trends from past years, the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 is likely to be announced in the third week of May, a timeframe also indicated by CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj. In 2025, CBSE released the Class 12 results on May 13, with an overall pass percentage of 88.39%. In 2024 too, the scorecards were issued on May 13 and in 2023, it was out on May 12.

For this academic year, CBSE has introduced the On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, under which answer scripts are evaluated digitally on computers. This method has enhanced the precision and transparency of the evaluation process, greatly minimising the risk of manual errors, and is expected to make the results more dependable. However, the exact result date remains uncertain, so students should disregard rumours and rely only on official notifications.
