CBSE 10th Second Board Exam Date Sheet 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has announced the schedule for the second board examination for class 10 students for the year 2026. As per the notification issued by the board, these exams will commence on May 15, 2026.

The CBSE 10th second board exam timetable has been issued by the Controller of Examinations, Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj. This year, CBSE class 10 students have once again been given a chance to showcase their abilities. The exams will start at 10:30 am and will cover core subjects along with various regional and foreign languages. Using the date sheet, students can plan their revision and preparation strategies effectively. The CBSE class 10 second board exams are scheduled from May 15 to May 21, 2026.

When was the CBSE 10th Session 1 exam held?

The CBSE 10th board exams (Session 1) took place between February 17, 2026, and March 11, 2026. The board completed the evaluation process on schedule, in line with the academic calendar, and declared the results on April 15, 2026. After the first term results, students who felt they could have scored better in certain subjects now have the second board exam in May as an opportunity to improve their final marksheet.

The CBSE class 10 second board exams will begin with the Mathematics paper on Friday, May 15, 2026. The Mathematics Standard and Mathematics Basic papers will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm on this day. The English (Communicative and Language and Literature) papers will follow on Saturday, May 16.

After Mathematics and English, the Science exam will be held on Monday, May 18. Tuesday, May 19, is reserved for languages, with papers in regional languages such as Hindi (Course A), Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, and Gujarati, along with foreign languages like French, German, and Japanese. On Wednesday, May 20, exams will be conducted in Painting, Sanskrit, and Information Technology (IT) with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The exam session will conclude with the Social Science paper on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
