The Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) has released the results for the 2026 High School Improvement and Intermediate Compartment examinations. Candidates can check their results on the UP Board website, upmsp.edu.in. Along with the results, the UP Board has also released the statistics of successful candidates.

According to statistics, a total of 20,855 candidates registered for the High School Compartment/Improvement Examination. These included 15,705 boys and 5,150 girls. A total of 19,394 candidates appeared for the examination, including 14,616 boys and 4,778 girls. A total of 19,191 candidates were declared successful, including 14,456 boys and 4,735 girls.

How many passed high school?

In the high school examination, 98.91% of male candidates and 99.10% of female candidates passed. Overall, 98.95% of students passed. The data clearly shows that the performance of students at the high school level was significantly better, with the success rate for girls being slightly higher than that of boys.

How was the intermediate result?

A total of 21,227 candidates registered for the Intermediate Compartment Examination 2026. These included 11,256 boys and 9,971 girls. A total of 20,540 candidates appeared for the examination, including 10,839 boys and 9,701 girls. A total of 16,286 candidates were declared successful, including 8,388 boys and 7,898 girls.

The pass percentage for male candidates in the Intermediate examination was 77.39, while the pass percentage for female candidates was 81.41. The overall pass percentage for the Intermediate Compartment Examination for both categories combined was 79.29. Here too, girls performed better than boys.

UP Board Compartment Results 2026: How to Check

– Visit any of the following links: upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in.

– Upon visiting the website, navigate to the compartment result link on the homepage. Once you click on this link, a new webpage will appear.

– Here, you need to provide the roll number that was issued to you on the admit card. Once you have entered the information and the captcha code, click on “submit.”

– Your result will pop up on the screen, showing your subject-wise marks, total score, and pass status.

– You can then download or print the marksheet for reference.

To pass the UP Board 10th and 12th exams, students must obtain at least 33 per cent marks. This rule applies to all streams in intermediate level, including Arts, Science, and Commerce. The total marks are calculated by combining the marks obtained in both practical and theory exams. If a student fails to secure 33 per cent in any subject, they will be considered failed in that subject.
