NEET UG 2026 Toppers List: The highest number of candidates is from UP with over 1.7 lakh, while the lowest number is from Lakshadweep with only 43 candidates qualifying.

Re-NEET Toppers 2026 List: As many as 11.21 lakh candidates out of 20 lakh candidates have qualified in the NEET UG re-exam result. Punjab’s Aryan Gupta and Haryana’s Panshul Bansal have become NEET toppers with the highest score of 715 out of 720 in the NEET exam held on June 21. While Shaurya, Taha and Hiya from Gujarat have secured a place in the top 20 list.
More girls have qualified the exam compared to boys. 56.8% of girls who appeared in the exam qualified, while this figure was 55.1% among boys. Candidates who qualified in NEET UG are from all 36 states and union territories.

The highest number of candidates is from Uttar Pradesh with over 1.7 lakh, while the lowest number is from Lakshadweep with only 43 candidates qualifying. Most toppers from these states – 138 students who secured top ranks in NEET are from 66 cities of the country.
Top 17 students who scored more than 705 are from these 8 states: Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Telangana.

According to NTA, this year the cutoff for the unreserved category (UR/EWS) was 715-213 at the 50th percentile. For OBC, SC, and ST categories, the cutoff was 212-177 at the 40th percentile.

Counselling for All India Quota in MBBS/BDS will be done by MCC and for state quota by the respective state government. NTA has advised students to trust only the official websites — neet.nta.nic.in, mcc.nic.in and the State Counselling Portal. Candidates can report any suspicious matter to neetug2026@nta.ac.in or 011-40759000.
Qualified NEET UG candidates can access their scorecards on the official NTA NEET portal using their application credentials. These results will be used for the upcoming counselling process for medical and dental admissions.
