The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) conducted the class 10 second phase of exams from May 15 to 21. It’s been more than a month since the exams have been held and students are awaiting their scorecards. Over 5 lakh students appeared for the phase 2 or improvement exams and around 1 lakh took the compartment exams.

With the Class 10 first board examinations held from February 17 to March 10 and results declared on April 15, it was expected that the second board results too would be out soon. However, with no official announcement from CBSE, students are growing increasingly anxious. Many have taken to microblogging site X, urging the board authorities to announce the results at the earliest.

Expressing their frustration on X, one user wrote, “What is going on in CBSE? Why is the result of the Class 10 second board exams pending for so long? It seems CBSE conducted the exam only to earn money. They don’t care about these 14-15-year-old students.”

Several students have also tagged CBSE’s official account and the Ministry of Education, requesting updates on the result declaration.

One student appealed, “Please provide any updates regarding the CBSE Class 10th Second Board exam results, sir. The children are anxious. 48 days have passed since the exams ended for enrollment in 11th grade, yet the results have not been declared. The children are sitting in anticipation.”

Another user questioned the delay, stating, “Will CBSE even be able to release the Class 10th results? There was a time when CBSE had a reputation, but look what you’ve done to it today. if you can’t handle it, why are you hell-bent on ruining the future of these students?”

Another student echoed similar concerns, urging the board to take swift action and provide clarity on the result timeline.

This year, the main exam results saw an overall pass percentage of 93.70%. As part of the National Education Policy (NEP) framework, CBSE introduced the option of two board examinations for Class 10 students this year. Students can check for further updates on the official CBSE website.
