NEET UG 2026 Fee Refund: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has shared an important update for students who appeared for the NEET UG 2026 original exam held on May 3, 2026. Those awaiting their application fee refund, NTA has announced that it has commenced the process for those who have confirmed their bank account details already.
Several candidates risk losing their refund because of issues such as incorrect account numbers, wrong IFSC codes, or incomplete bank information. To address this, the agency has allowed a final opportunity for students to review and update their details. The NTA has allowed students time till July 7 to update their bank details if they are yet to do so.
This window to submit bank account details till July 7 is mainly for:
– Candidates who did not previously submit their bank details
– Those who entered incorrect bank account information or IFSC codes
– Students whose bank details could not be verified
– Eligible candidates who have not yet completed the refund process
How To Update Bank Details:
Candidates need to visit the official NEET UG website at neet.nta.nic.in and click on the link titled “Final Opportunity to Confirm/Update Bank Account Details for NEET (UG) 2026 Fee Refund (Exam held on 03 May 2026).” After logging in with their credentials, they can access the dashboard, review their bank information, make necessary corrections, and submit the updated details. It is important to download and save the confirmation page after submission for future reference.
NTA has clarified that once candidates complete all the necessary procedures and submit their bank details, that information will be considered final. There will be no opportunity to make any changes after this. Therefore, candidates are advised to thoroughly verify the bank account number, IFSC code, account holder’s name, and all other information before making the final submission.
