With the NEET UG 2026 re-examination scheduled for Sunday, June 21, candidates are rushing to download their admit cards, which were released on June 15. According to the National Testing Agency (NTA), more than 10 lakh candidates downloaded their hall tickets within 24 hours of the release.

“More than 10 lakh students have downloaded their Admit Cards for NEET UG 2026 in about 24 hours since the launch of Admit Card download facility. Our tech teams are monitoring the loads on the servers and NTA will ensure that all candidates get their Admit Cards, well in time for the Examination,” the agency posted on X.

Aspirants Report Tech Problems

Despite this, several aspirants have reported technical glitches and server-related issues while attempting to access their admit cards. One user on X wrote that the website was functioning properly only late at night, with frequent disruptions during the day. Another claimed that a large number of candidates were still unable to download their hall tickets due to server crashes and ongoing technical problems.

Some candidates also flagged discrepancies in their admit cards. One user noted that the “eligibility for compensatory time” field, initially blank, later displayed a “Yes” despite the candidate not being a PwD, raising concerns about the document’s accuracy.

Meanwhile, the NTA has clarified that exam fee refunds will be processed directly to the bank accounts provided by candidates. The agency has also warned students against fraudulent calls and messages, and said that those who made errors in bank details will be given an opportunity to correct them after the examination.

The NEET UG 2026 exam, originally conducted on May 3, was cancelled following allegations of a paper leak. After an investigation found similarities between a circulated ‘guess paper’ and the actual question paper, the exam was scrapped on May 12. The re-examination will now be held on June 21, with lakhs of candidates expected to appear.
