With just two days remaining for the re-evaluation application window, several CBSE Class 12 students have raised concerns over persistent technical issues on the board’s verification and re-evaluation portal. The process began on June 2 at 4:42 AM. However, for the past two-three days, many students claim that the portal continues to display a “Verification Failed” error, preventing them from proceeding with their applications.
Students have taken to microblogging site, X to highlight the issue. One user wrote, “Verification Failed…from straight four days….” While another student said that despite entering accurate Aadhaar details for both themselves and their parents, the portal repeatedly shows verification errors. “The CBSE Verification & Re-evaluation portal is still not working properly. Even with exact Aadhaar details (mine + parents), it shows “Verification Failed”. Heavy traffic & glitches are wasting our time. Only 2 days remaining! Kindly fix this ASAP,” the student posted.
Several others reported similar problems. They added that even after entering correct details, the portal asks them to recheck their information.
Another student said they had been unable to log in for the past two days, with the system displaying a “verification error” despite correct inputs. A separate user reported that after finally logging in and filling out the re-evaluation form, all entered data was lost upon attempting to save it.
Frustration among students is mounting. One X user said the dreams and hard work of students have gone now while another highlighted that several candidates are yet to get photocopies of answer sheets.

We are unable to log in to the portal from past 2 days, it says “verification failed, please check your details and try again”, but no action is taken so far, nobody is picking calls at helpline numbers, We cant DM you, as the DM option is unavailable. pic.twitter.com/FWALnhot9u— Deepak Suryavanshi (@searchingfrnds) June 3, 2026
Things seem to be good at CBSE’s end but what about us who are still NOT able to download photocopies? Despite multiple mail chains CBSE’s technical is not able to solve the issue. They simply copy paste the standard reply without reading the problem.— Mahender S Mahara (@MahenderMahara) June 4, 2026
What CBSE Said
Responding to the complaints, CBSE has asked students to share details of their issues via direct messages. “Please share a brief description of the issue over DM. The CBSE team will assist you,” the board said in replies to multiple users.
The board has also been reaching out individually to affected students with the same message, assuring assistance while concerns over portal functionality continue to grow.
3.8 Million-Packet DoS Attack Stopped

It added that the portal had accepted over 56,000 such applications as of 9:30 pm.
