After a CBSE Class 12 student went viral alleging that the answer sheets uploaded under his roll number did not match their handwriting, more students have now come forward with similar claims.
On Sunday, a student named Vedant posted a distressing message on social media that sparked widespread concern among students. After receiving unexpectedly low marks in his Physics board exam, he requested photocopies of his answer sheet through the official re-evaluation and verification process of the Central Board of Secondary Education.
In posts shared on X, Vedant uploaded side-by-side comparisons of his handwriting and the Physics answer sheet provided under his roll number. He further compared the Physics sheet with his English and Computer Science answer scripts, as well as his handwritten notes, claiming the English and Computer Science papers matched each other, while the Physics answer sheet appeared to belong to someone else entirely.
Following this, another X user named Sanjana made a similar allegation, stating that the scanned copy of her Chemistry answer sheet provided by the CBSE did not match her handwriting or the responses she had written in the exam. She said she had applied for revaluation after scoring just 11 out of 70 in the Chemistry theory paper, despite expecting a much higher score.
She added that while the first page of the answer booklet containing her personal details seemed correct, the internal pages allegedly showed different handwriting and answers that did not resemble her own work. To support her claim, she also shared her English answer sheet, saying it clearly reflected her actual writing style in contrast to the Chemistry booklet.
I applied for CBSE revaluation. The scanned copy of my chemistry sheet I received does not match my handwriting or written responses. For reference, I am attaching my English answer sheet, which clearly reflects my actual handwriting. pic.twitter.com/laINaEMAP3— Sanjana (@Sanjanaopxe) May 25, 2026
Another student has also since come forward with a similar allegation, claiming that the Physics answer sheet uploaded under his details by CBSE does not belong to him.

Soon after the CBSE Class 12 results 2026 were declared, many students and parents alleged that the newly implemented Onscreen Marking System (OSM) led to unexpectedly low scores. Several attributed this to the newly introduced digital evaluation process, suggesting it may not have accurately assessed lengthy answers, diagrams, and step-wise markings.
