The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has opened admissions for the second batch of its two-year Blended MBA in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) programme. Designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs, the course combines management education with training in data analytics, machine learning and AI.
The two-year programme is divided into six terms and combines live online classes with three on-campus learning modules. It aims to help professionals develop the skills needed to use data and AI in business decision-making.
What’s The Eligibility Criteria?
According to IIM Ahmedabad Director Professor Bharat Bhaskar, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification, such as CA, CS, ICWA or CMA. Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree.
Work experience is also mandatory. Applicants with a three-year undergraduate degree must have at least three years of full-time work experience, while those with a four-year undergraduate degree must have at least two years of full-time work experience. The experience requirement will be assessed as of March 31, 2027.
Candidates may also have the option of taking IIM Ahmedabad’s first-round entrance examination as an alternative route, subject to the programme’s admission requirements.
What Will The Programme Cover?
The curriculum covers a range of subjects, including data modelling, statistics, machine learning, finance, risk management, product management, generative AI, agentic AI and supply chain digitisation.
Students will learn to apply analytical and AI-based tools to business challenges through case studies, projects and practical training. The programme combines technical concepts with management skills to help participants make data-driven decisions.
IIM Ahmedabad Blended MBA Fees And Exit Option
The total fee for the two-year Blended MBA in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence programme has been set at Rs 21 lakh.
Participants who exit after completing the first year will have the option of receiving a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics and AI, subject to the programme’s requirements. Those who complete the full two-year MBA will become part of IIM Ahmedabad’s alumni network.
