NEET-PG Result 2026 Declared: NBEMS will announce the NEET PG qualifying criteria soon. The qualifying cutoff is determined based on the candidate’s category.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the NEET-PG 2026 results. The examination was conducted on August 30, 2026 across the country, with more than 2.65 lakh candidates appearing for the test. The results are now available on the official website at natboard.edu.in while the answer key will be issued on October 1.

According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the examination was conducted for around 2.73 lakh candidates across 1,111 centres in 339 cities, covering all 36 States and Union Territories. The ministry said more than 2.65 lakh candidates appeared for the examination.

However, the exam at affected centres in Sitapura, Jaipur, had to be conducted separately following a technical disruption. The re-exam was subsequently held on September 5, 2026 for around 2,445 candidates.

Candidates can follow these steps after the result is declared:

– Go to the ‘Public Notice’ section on the homepage.

– Look for the link titled ‘Result of NEET-PG 2026’.

– Click on the result link to open the result document.

– Search for your roll number or application ID in the result document.

– Check details including your percentile and All India Rank (AIR).

– Download the result and keep a copy for future reference.

NEET PG Cut Off Marks

NBEMS has announced the NEET PG 2026 qualifying criteria. General and EWS candidates need to score at least 50th percentile, while General-PwBD candidates are required to secure the 45th percentile. For candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC categories, including PwBD candidates from these groups, the qualifying threshold is 40th percentile.

In terms of scores, the cutoffs are 262 marks for the 50th percentile, 244 marks for the 45th percentile and 226 marks for the 40th percentile.
